The 12th International conference on Flow-Induced Vibration will be held in Palaiseau, 5-8 July 2022. It will be hosted at Campus Marcel Boiteux – EDF Lab Paris-Saclay in the suburbs of Paris, close to Ecole Polytechnique which hosted the 2004 conference.

Accommodations and transportation
The conference venue is situated in the research cluster of Paris-Saclay at about 15 km of the French capital as the crow flies. It offers easy access from and to both international airports :
- The bus line 91-10 stops at EDF Lab and ends at Orly airport. This airport is also connected to the RER B line via a dedicated (and expensive) railway shuttle service named Orlyval (red line on the map above).
- The bus line 91-10 (or 91-06) stops at RER B station of Massy-Palaiseau , which leads to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport.
You wish to stay in Paris...
Should you choose to stay in Paris, we highly recommend that you find a place near the RER B railway line , on the southern bank of the river Seine (10 to 30 min walk distance lines reported on the map). It will take around 45 to 55 minutes to reach the conference center from the stations between Denfert Rochereau and Châtelet-les-Halles. You will have to change for the local bus line 91-06 or 91-10 at the station Massy-Palaiseau. We strongly suggest that you purchase a Navigo Week Pass (all zones) to save on your budget. For those venturing out with car rental, please note that a free parking lot is located just across the Gaspard Monge Blvd. However, you must NOT count on such parking facilities (let alone free) in Paris and its closest suburbs.

If you prefer to book a hotel near the conference, we indicate on the map the most suitable places (ordered from the nearest to the farthest). The better choice is undeniably the Aparthotel Adagio situated at about 300 meters from EDF Lab. All the other suggested accommodotions will require you to commute by bus.
